Ordering

When ordering from Knittin' Kitten Fashion you must be over the age of 18 years of age. We do require the buyer to show a valid ID when purchasing a fursuit to show proof or legal name and age. All other areas of the idea can be blacked out for your privacy. No personal information will be shared from the ID verification. The buyer must also sign a waiver, releasing Knittin' Kitten Fashion from any lawsuits.

This is a hand made item and may have flaws or imperfections. We do our best to ensure the best quality for our customers and would not send a product that does not meet our quality standards. All items go through a quality check before the item is sent to the customer.

All commissions must be accepted by Knittin' Kitten Fashion before payment will be taken from buyer. All payments are processed through etsy.

Privacy & Safety

All personal information of the client will not be used or distributed in anyway. Such as, address, legal name, age, phone number, email address, and credit card information.

Commission Approvals

All potential buyers must send a Safe for Work reference sheet that does not contain shading. We DO NOT accept AI artwork reference sheets. We will decline the commission if AI artwork is sent to us.

Fur colors, fursuit head bases, digigrade style, add-ons, and markings will be discussed before payment is accepted from the buyer. We will send the buyer multiple fur color web links to confirm the fur is correct to the buyer's vision.

Duct Tape Dummy and Sizing

To receive a full digigrade fursuit from Knittin' Kitten Fashion, the buyer must send a duct tape dummy to our location that will be sent to the buyer once the duct tape dummy is ready.

We can decline the commission if the duct tape dummy is not sent to Knittin' Kitten Fashion within 3 months of the down-payment or full payment.

Duct tape dummy cannot be an old or used. We require a new duct tape dummy to ensure all the measurements are correct and up to date.

Other measurements may need to be disclosed by the buyer to ensure a proper fit on the bodysuit or fursuit head.

Communication

All communication will take place on the etsy messaging platform. The etsy messaging will allow the buyer and seller to have secure conversations about the suit or item being purchased. If any issues occur the messages can be used to report either party for legal purposes.

We will respond as soon as possible on weekdays (Monday - Friday). We have slower response times on the weekends but will respond to your message.

Work in progress photos will be sent to the buyer of fursuits as the suit is being created. The buyer may request as many WIPS of the fursuit or item as often as they wish. Just send us a message on etsy and we will give you the WIP or update to the WIP.

If Knittin' Kitten Fashion cannot reach the buyer of the fursuit for a payment within 2 months of the past due payment, Knittin' Kitten Fashion may cancel the commission or fursuit project and refund the buyer with all payments except for the 30% down-payment.

Deadlines

A general estimated completion time for a full digigrade Knittin' Kitten Fashion fursuit is 5-6 months once the suit has been paid in full.

If the suit is being paid for through a payment plan, the suit will begin production after a third of the payments have been completed on the fursuit or costume. We will send the finished fursuit once all payments have been completed on the fursuit.

The fursuit will be shipped in the mail with insurance that is for the amount paid on the item.

We cannot guarantee that the suit will be completed by a certain convention. If the suit is paid off by the date of your convention and has been communicated that you need the suit by that date, Knittin' Kitten Fashion will communicate if that date is possible to ship by.

Payments

All payments are made through our etsy shop. This ensures safety for the buyer and the seller. The buyer will be required to pay taxes on the item during checkout on etsy.

When paying for your fursuit, we offer payments plans up to 12 months. When paying with our payment plan, we require a 30% nonrefundable down-payment on the fursuit and then the remaining amount will be divided by the amount of time the buyer has chosen. The creation process will start once it is your turn in the que line and you have paid a minimum of half of your final payment.

When paying for your fursuit in full, your suit commission will begin immediately. We process our full suits within 6 to 8 weeks once full payment has been received.

If you miss a payment, please let us know. We understand some months you may need to skip a payment. If this happens, your payment amount will be moved down a month. Your fursuit completion date will also be moved down a month if you decide to skip a payment.

Fursuit Care

Knittin' Kitten Fashion preforms quality checks on all items before the buyer receives the item. All products are designed by Knittin' Kitten Fashion or hand made so imperfections may be present.

After the buyer receives their item, Knittin' Kitten Fashion is no longer responsible for any defects or damage that may occur.

Knittin' Kitten Fashion is also not responsible and will not repair the fursuit if the buyer washes fursuit/ fursuit parts incorrectly, uses their fursuit incorrectly or applies incorrect fragrance sprays such as but not limited to:

Washing fursuit with hot water
Placing suit near open fire
Getting suit overly dirty
Fursuit getting saturated with seawater
Spraying Armor All on fursuit
Using Carpet Cleaner on Fursuit
Placing electronics near heat or water source
Tar getting on Fursuit
Cutting holes into the bodysuit
Getting fluids other than sweat on the fursuit
Indoor feet paws are used outdoors

Knittin' Kitten Fashion will repair a fursuit if it comes damaged in the mail. The buyer will need to send us documentation and photos of the damage on the fursuit. If the box was damaged during transit, we will also need photos documenting the damage.

We provide a care guide with all fursuits to ensure the suit is properly taken care of. We will instruct you if your suit can or cannot be washed in the washing machine or if it has to be hand washed.

The buyer may reach out at any point if they have a question about fursuit care.

Disclaimer

Knittin' Kitten Fashion is a pet friendly work environment and pets are present in the work space. We cannot guarantee the buyer's purchased items will be free of pet dander.

The workspace also has air fresheners present but are kept away from the fur, foam, and other suit making materials.

Knittin' Kitten Fashion is not responsible for any injuries that may occur to the buyer or related person's of any item purchased from our shop.

3D prints can have sharp edges as stated in the descriptions in our listings. Knittin' Kitten Fashion is not responsible if buyer gets injured from a 3D print. All prints are sanded before being shipped if needed.

When wearing a fursuit, the wearer will have limited visibility, potential higher risk of falling, limited ventilation, and potential of heat stroke. Knittin' Kitten Fashion is not responsible for any harm or medical emergency that the wearer/ buyer may have due to the item they have purchased. We recommend the fursuit wearer take frequent breaks while wearing the costume.

Social Media

Knittin' Kitten Fashion reserves the rights to share and post any work in progress photos to any social media platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, BlueSky, Threads, Telegram, Patreon, etc).

Clients and buyers cannot request that work in progress photos and final photos are not shared or have removed from social media from any reason.

Refunds and Cancellations

Knittin' Kitten Fashion has the ability to cancel an order at anytime if the buyer or client is rude, bullying, and other poor behavioral actions against Knittin' Kitten Fashion. The order will be refunded 100% and the buyer will not be allowed to order from Knittin' Kitten Fashion in the future.

If there is a major life change in the buyer's life such as illness, family death, natural disaster, etc. The buyer may choose to receive a full refund or a partial refund that will come with all parts that were created during the creation process.

When the buyer requests a refund during the creation process, Knittin' Kitten Fashion has the right to refuse a refund. If a refund is strongly requested, Knittin' Kitten Fashion will refund the payments other than the non-refundable 30% down-payment.
